All it was is to pass on my thanks to Yourself and George for the very challenging and sporting days shooting today; especially in the windy conditions. It was also a very friendly team of guns today, who were all tying their very best to shoot in the very testing conditions. The decision to change the day to an all “Grouse Day”, was well founded; in my opinion. We also fitted in 4 Drives as well. Although I am not really in a position to comment, but I think you still have a very good stock of Grouse, many of which did not come over the Guns today, with the wind. This should help for next season, re numbers for Breeding stock. Once again many thanks and please also pass on the thanks to George and his team, who gave us all a great day.

I shot on your moor today as a guest of P. We had some of the most spectacular grouse anybody can show, downwind in large numbers then onto amazing partridge that seemed to continue without cessation until the end of the drive. Many thanks to your able staff for such a sporting day.

The Grouse were exceptional, one of the best I have had the privilege to shoot at for some time, the conditions were more than challenging and the Guys did a Stirling job getting them over the Guns.
